Port City Chop House

Kahrs, a Greensboro, NC native, graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and has worked in the kitchens of upscale restaurants from Wilmington to Boston. His favorite thing to cook? Scallops and soup. At the Chop House, the scallops are pan seared and served with brown butter, lemon, and parsley. A favorite menu item is the she-crab soup, and a homemade soup of the day is also available.
