At Von Barkee’s Dog Spa & Bakery, owners Nikki Beall and Hunter Osborne say every dog is treated as an individual, with grooming shaped by personality, comfort level and routine. “We believe grooming should be approached with patience, respect, and genuine care,” they explain.

And at K9 Resorts Wilmington, operating partners Cheryl Willey and Natalie Dreher emphasize that there is no “one size fits all” approach to caring for dogs. Whether a pup thrives in group play or prefers one-on-one attention, the goal is the same: to create a place where pets feel safe, understood and loved.
