Mar 6 – CB100: Centennial Celebration
Celebrate 100 years of Carolina Beach with historical tours, themed food and drinks, murals, a music festival, and a boat flotilla. Events take place throughout the town from March to September, honoring its rich coastal history and vibrant community.

Mar 6 – CB100: Centennial Sculpture Dedication
Unveiling of the “I Love Carolina Beach” sculpture, designed by NC artists Tim Sheaffer and Paul Veto. This colorful installation, located near the marina and boardwalk, is a tribute to the town’s centennial and its connection to the ocean.

Mar 8-15 – Pleasure Island Restaurant Week
Savor the flavors of Pleasure Island as top restaurants in Carolina Beach and Kure Beach offer special prix-fixe menus and signature dishes. This week-long culinary celebration highlights the area’s coastal cuisine and vibrant dining scene.

Mar 8 – The NC Rice Festival
Celebrate the cultural and historical significance of rice in North Carolina with a day of live music, educational talks, arts and crafts, and family-friendly activities. The event features performances, food vendors, and historical presentations, with a focus on the Gullah Geechee heritage.

Mar 15 – St. Patrick's Day Parade
A lively celebration of Irish culture featuring bagpipes, Celtic dance performances, and festive floats winding through downtown Wilmington. Join the crowd dressed in green and enjoy this beloved rain-or-shine community tradition.

Mar 15 – Spring Local Craft Market
Browse handmade creations from over 30 local artisans in a charming garden setting. Featuring jewelry, pottery, textiles, and other unique finds, this market offers a relaxing way to support regional artists while enjoying Wilmington’s historic atmosphere.

Mar 15 – St. Patrick's Lo Tide Run
This festive 5K and 10K race along the Carolina Beach Boardwalk honors two inspiring community members. Participants are encouraged to wear Irish-themed attire, with an awards ceremony and after-party following the event.

Mar 20-23 – One Tree Hill: The Show Must Go On!
Fans of the hit show One Tree Hill can experience a star-studded weekend filled with guided filming location tours, cast meet-and-greets, and special events at the original TRIC nightclub. A must-attend for longtime viewers of the series.

Mar 21-23 – Uptilt Film Festival
A dynamic film festival celebrating female and gender-expansive filmmakers through a diverse lineup of short films from around the world. This event showcases innovative storytelling and provides a platform for underrepresented voices in cinema.

Mar 24 – The Muses Garden: Feast Experience
Immerse yourself in a Greek-inspired evening of myth and flavor featuring Mediterranean cuisine, cocktails, and belly dancing. Guests are encouraged to dress in blue, white, and gold for this enchanting toga soirée filled with culinary delights and cultural traditions.

Mar 28 – Bluegrass Bash
Kick off the evening with a pre-show party featuring food trucks and craft beer, followed by an exciting lineup of bluegrass performances. This annual event brings together some of the region’s top musicians for a night of toe-tapping entertainment.

Mar 28-Apr 6 – NC Azalea Festival Juried Art Show and Sale
Featuring over 100 artists, this juried show presents an impressive collection of fine paintings and 3D artwork from local and national talents. A signature event of the NC Azalea Festival, it offers visitors a chance to view and purchase original art.

Mar 29-30 – Feast Wilmington
A two-day culinary festival showcasing the best of Wilmington’s food and drink scene. Highlights include a Riverside Pier Party, Brunch Elevated, and Craft+Cuisine, pairing 20 talented chefs with 20 craft breweries for a unique tasting experience.

Mar 29 – Spring Festival
Celebrate the arrival of spring with a fun-filled family festival featuring educational exhibits, arts and crafts, live entertainment, a bounce house, and a magic show. A perfect way to enjoy the coastal outdoors.

Apr 5-6 – Herb & Garden Fair
A premier event for garden lovers, featuring a wide selection of locally grown plants, gardening workshops, artisan crafts, and all-natural products. Discover everything from native plants and perennials to handmade garden art and herbal remedies.

Apr 10-13 – NC Black Film Festival
An annual celebration of independent films created by African-American filmmakers, featuring shorts, animation, documentaries, and feature films. Screenings take place at various locations, offering a diverse and engaging cinematic experience.

Apr 12 – Living History: Women of Brunswick
Step back in time and discover the crucial role of Colonial women in America’s fight for independence. This interactive historical event includes demonstrations, storytelling, and hands-on activities that bring the past to life.

Apr 12-13 – Pleasure Island Spring Surf Fishing Challenge
Compete in this land-based surf fishing tournament for a chance to win cash prizes. Open to teams and solo anglers, the event showcases the incredible fishing opportunities along the Carolina Beach and Kure Beach shoreline.

Apr 13 – HDWM Artisan Market
A weekly outdoor market featuring handmade art, jewelry, and crafts by local artists. With a rotating selection of vendors, this vibrant market offers fresh finds every Sunday in the heart of historic downtown Wilmington.

Apr 26 – Wilmington Earth Day
A lively festival promoting environmental awareness with live music, food trucks, interactive exhibits, and family-friendly activities. Connect with local organizations and learn about sustainability efforts.

Apr 26 – Landfall Foundation Gala
Join the Landfall Foundation from 6pm-11pm for A Musical Tribute to Las Vegas. Proceeds support the Landfall Foundation grants program. Feathers, Fedoras and Black Ties are welcomed!

Apr 27 – Family Fun Day
A free family-friendly event featuring pony rides, a petting zoo, games, crafts, and live entertainment. Kids can enjoy face painting and storytelling while parents explore the historic Bellamy Mansion.
