Beach Read Books is a cozy, coastal indie romance bookstore focused on summer reads, romance novels, and North Carolina-based books. We both loved visiting various beaches and popping into all the bookstores along the way, but as avid romance readers, we never found the exact selection that we were looking for. That is what sparked our desire to open our own store. Beach Read Books is curated for the hopeless romantics, the summer fun beachgoers, and those looking to escape reality for a bit. With a mix of lighthearted contemporaries, dark romance, thrillers, and romantasy, we hope to have a little something for everyone. We are always so excited to meet new readers, see familiar faces, and recommend books we love. Here are a few of our favorites:

The Infinity Between Us by N.S. Perkins
For eighteen summers, Violet Mitchell and Will Seaberg shared a beach house in Ogunquit, Maine, growing from friends to something more. One tragic summer tore them and their families apart, leaving Violet heartbroken and vowing never to contact Will again. Five years later, Violet returns to finalize the sale of the beach house and finds Will there, still loving and regretful. Despite her initial resistance, Violet realizes that facing their past might hold the key to the love and happiness she thought was lost. Together, they must confront their memories to find a future.

All My Love by Morgan Elizabeth
Riggins has loved Stella since childhood, sharing dreams of escaping their small town. When his band lands a record deal, he convinces her to join him on tour, but the rockstar lifestyle soon ruins their relationship. Stella leaves, devastated, and spends years rebuilding her life. Seven years later, Riggins returns to Ashford, New Jersey, turning her world upside down. They must confront their past and see if they can move forward together, piecing together their broken dreams and mending their hearts.

How to Honeymoon Alone by Olivia Hayle
Eden, dumped by her fiancé, decides to go on their non-refundable honeymoon to a tropical island alone. She plans to heal with beach relaxation and cocktails but meets Philip Meyer, a cynical workaholic. Despite their differences, they are repeatedly thrown together by fate, sharing catamaran cruises and midnight swims. Their unlikely connection deepens, challenging their views and sparking unexpected romance. However, as the vacation ends, they must decide if their bond can withstand the real world and turn a fleeting holiday romance into something lasting.

Fragile Sanctuary by Catherine Cowles
Anson Hunt, the grumpy new contractor and best friend of her brother, should be off-limits for the kind-hearted protagonist. Despite their differences, he becomes her protector when her life is threatened by mysterious accidents. As Anson's gruff exterior softens, a spark ignites between them, leading to an intense romance. However, Anson's hidden secrets threaten their newfound love. As the truth unfolds, both face challenges that could leave them both deeply scarred, testing the strength of their connection and their ability to overcome
adversity together.
